COST OF RESIDENCE PERMIT EXTENSION APPLICATIONS
Residence permit extension card fee: 125,00 TL
Residence permit extension fee: 650,00 TL (per one year)
Health Insurance Fee: 145 TL-740 TL (It varies according to the age of the foreigner-It is necessary for foreigners under 65 years old)
Notary and translation fee: 250 TL (MAX)
Apostille approval fees: 72,61 TL / for each page (May not be necessary)
Our consulting fee: 2500 TL (Extension)
Our consultancy fee for extension of residence permit will remain the same in 2017 and is 450 TL + VAT.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR RESIDENCE PERMIT EXTENSION
You can apply for an extension, based on the type of your residence permit.
The end date of your residence permit can be selected as the start date of the extension period.
Extension process can change by passport and type of the selected residence permit.
Photos must have been taken within the last 6 months, against a white background and biometric. Also photo must be installed in the system during the application process.
Residence permit extension applications must be made within last 60 days of the residence permit end date and in any case it must be made before the end date.
To make an extension application, please make sure that the contents of the documents related to your situation are complete.
Once the application is made, the residence permit application form will be generated by the system with the required documentation. The foreigner is legally entitled to reside in Turkey until the date of appointment with this form but it doesn’t guarantee the foreigner’s right to enter and leave the country.
(!) If the foreigner wishes to enter the country or to leave the country, he / she must personally apply to the Provincial Immigration Authority.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR RESIDENCE PERMIT EXTENSION 2021
The required documents may vary depending on the type of residence permit or the reason you want to stay. The administration may request additional information or documents relevant to your request for residence at any time. You are required to have a passport or passport substitude document for 60 days longer than the period of residence you requested.

- Photos must have been taken within the last 6 months, against a white background and biometric.

- If there are no Latin letters on passport, translation in Turkish and notarial approval are required
- If the name and surname are not written separately on the passport, a document that shows the foreigners identity clearly will be requested from the foreign representatives.
- If there is a change in name or family name, the information needs to be updated by contacting the local staff personally. Also, birth certificates can be requested from foreigners.
- During the requested residence permit period, if your food, accommodation or medical expenses are covered by public authorities, you need to notify the authority concerned.
In the case of being under 18 years of age, the person must be given consent by the parents or legal representatives living away from him, and the document must be issued and administered by the real and legal persons.

PAYMENT OF THE FEES
The fees to be paid are calculated automatically by the system, taking into account such criteria as bilateral agreements, residence permit end date, requested extension period, citizenship information and marital status with Turkish citizens.
Pay residence permit fee and residence permit file fees separately and request double invoice. Payments for work permit fees and work permit costs can be made to local finance units, provincial financial authorities or banks with agreements with the Ministry of Economy.
DELIVERY OF DOCUMENTS
After paying the fees for the residence permit and the residence permit card, you must send all necessary documents along with the receipts to the Provincial Immigration Authority with a large A4 size paper envelope and via PTT or by cargo.
The applicant is responsible for any inconsistencies between the online declared informations and the documents being mailed. (Except for problems related to cargo and postal services)
RESIDENCE PERMIT EXTENSION ASSESSMENT PROCESS
All informations and documents will be evaluated when the documents delivered to the Immigration Office. From this date, the assessment period is 90 days.
The application will not be assessed unless it is delivered via PTT or by cargo.
If your evaluation is positive, your residence permit will be approved by the General Directorate of Immigration and will be sent to your residence address.
THE OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE ANSWERS TO THE OFFICIAL CALL
According to Article 97 of Law No. 6458, the General Directorate of Immigration or the Provincial Immigration Authorities may request you to:
- In the necessary investigations about entering and staying in Turkey
- Where it is possible to make an export decision from the country
- Where it is necessary to inform about the application of the relevant law
If you can not answer the official call or if there are serious doubts about not being answered, you can be taken by the security forces without being informed.

The appointments made by the Foreigners Branch before 18 May 2015 have to be renewed through the system.
The date and number of previous appointments must be registered in the system.
Where possible, the previous appointment document must be submitted on the application date.
